About the Company

The Company
Retirement was not in the cards in 1998.  After a dozen years of designing and marketing products, I realized that leisure was not a long suit of mine.  At the same time I was receiving calls from friends and associates for advice and counsel.   The OMT family of companies was born.

From our years of importing experience we received calls about the hows and the whys of importing.  In the early 2000’s we were working for a mail-order company that specialized in watches.  In addition to our other activities the president asked me how I got started in importing and could I help improve their products with foreign suppliers.
As they say the rest is history.  Intica was born as a private label watch and watch accessory company specializing in leather and wood watch cases as well as watch winders.  In addition we also import private label watch bands in both stainless steel and leather.
The last few years we have been approach a number of times to brand a line for retail and catalog companies that were not interested in container loads of products.  The Intica Branded line represents our first retail branded line.
All products are stocked in our Knoxville, TN warehouse.  We maintain a 96% same day ship rate on orders.  Samples and small order quantities are available on all products.  We can even private brand most of our product even in smaller quantities.  Our Quality Guarantee is unmatched.  Give us a call and we will be glad to send you samples for examination.

Management
Paul MandelFor almost 20 Years Paul Mandel was a financial officer for publicly traded companies.  Having held positions of Vice President of Finance, Treasurer and CFO he realized that he wanted to run his own company.  In 1989, he and a partner founded a mail-order company that designed, assembled and sold direct to consumers.  Founded on high customer service but low prices, the idea was fair pricing with great service would attract and keep customers.  Within five years revenues were over $100 million annually and growing at 25% a year.

In 1994 his efforts were rewarded being named Entrepreneur of the Year for the Midwest, one of only 13 awards given that year nationally. In addition, the company won over 100 awards for both products and customer service from the industry associations. Additionally he developed many innovations that are still in use today and was awarded four patents for his efforts.

The same principles that were founded in 1989 are at Intica today.  Customer satisfaction is a passion not just a phrase.
